This week I worked on my research plan and proposal. I already had a topic down- sex education. When working on my research proposal I had to narrow down my vision a bit more and think more about my project. For example, what about sex education did I want to talk about? Did I want to address its effects on different races? On different genders? The effects of different policies? It's imperfections? Did I want to look at sex education globally? Nationally?
In the end I decided that my research paper would focus on the different policies in the United States and their effects. Which policies seem to be most effective, least effective, and why?
When I was thinking of all this, I browsed several websites for articles. I hoped that the more I knew, the easier it would be to make a decision. I stumbled upon the sites and a few articles that are listed in my bibliography.
The sites listed there are organizations who have several essays and facts on several different issues within the broad sex education question. I read through some of them and downloaded the PDFs for future use.
